	MEDIS, Medical Infusion Systems, was established as Limited Company in 1980, with the objective of becoming a major force in the portable battery operated syringe pump market. MEDIS has introduced to the market a range of portable pumps (named the INFUSA® range) which can be used for a variety of drug infusion applications both at home and in the hospital, over periods of time from 10 minutes to 5 days. Sales are made direct and through medical equipment dealers in Italy. All sales outside of Italy are through appointed distributors, which run after sale Service Centres. Because of our involvement in medical field, we added to INFUSA® pumps other products which are highly appreciated by our customers. MEDIS is member of the most important Italian and International Associations of Thalassaemia (T.I.F.), Pain (S.I.C.P. - I.A.S.P.), Diabetes (C.A.D.) and Parkinson (A.P.I.) INFUSA® pumps are manufactured in Milan at our own factory as per the following standards: • F.D.A. (USA) 510/K - Manufacturing Plant Registration No. 8044087 • Requirements of Council Directive 93/42/EEC, Annex V (Quality System) Notified Body CERTIQUALITY – C E 0546 • The standard UNI EN ISO 9002 – UNI CEI EN 46002, certificate No. 1585 issued by CERTIQUALITY • The standard ISO 9002, IQNet Registration No. IT – 6368 Classification: Equipment with an Internal Electric Power Source, type BF, Drip Proof (Class IIa)
